When we have vacancies for instructors, we aim to fill the position with an Instructor who completed their initial Instructor’s rating with Superior Pilot Services. This ensures his / her integration is streamlined.
Cadet Pilot Programmes
We train cadets not only to the exact standards of the SACAA, but also to recognize the importance of maintaining proficient knowledge and skills with continuous training throughout their career. We believe that a “Superior” Cadet programme is based on the following principles:
- Helping Students to learn and achieve the results
- Providing an Airline standard of Instruction
- Expectations of adequate standards of performance
- Emphasizing the positive
Individuals learn at different paces and in different ways. Positive feedback received from our other cadet supply entities, is the capability to be flexible with our programmes and to provide remedial assistance where required.
The foundation of achieving this comprises of the following but not limited to:
- Devise a plan of action for the individual
- Optimizing the Instructor-student relationship
- Gradually transferring responsibility to the student as learning progresses
- Chronological outcome-based achievements
Superior Pilot Services is the proud supplier to SA EXPRESS, SACAA, SAA and TETA Cadets and thus our cadet training capability is not only theory, but proven experience. Applications to these programmes are handled by the applicable organisation.
Scholar Pilot Cadet Programme
The objective is to equip the Pilot to start with his career as soon as possible. The Scholar Cadet Pilot Programme is designed to kick off your Aviation career from as early as Gr 8. Our Scholar Cadet Pilot programme will be presented through an Aeronautical Academy at Grand Central Airport. With Superior Pilot Services already in the industry of training pilots for the commercial market, our courses are aligned with the new SACAA syllabus and exams. The Aeronautical Curriculum is result based training and it focuses on the following:
- Eight PPL subjects
- Radio Control Aircraft Piloting and Flight
- Aircraft systems
- Flight Simulator Training
- Practical Flying
- Private Pilot’s Licence
- Commercial hour building
Instead of a Student Pilot starting with his career preparation only after Matric, the Aeronautical Academy will see that the Pilot exit High School not only with his Private Pilot’s Licence and preparatory for their Commercial Pilot’s Licence, it would instil, values, professionalism, responsibility and self-discipline into our scholars at an early stage.
